Pedro Donoso

Pedro Donoso (1970) is a curator and editor. He lives and works between Valparaiso and Santiago. He studied Philosophy at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies from the Goldsmith College in London and a Master of Philosophy in Comparative Literature from the University of Cambridge.

Since 2000, he has been a collaborator and critic of the magazine Artes y Letras of the newspaper El Mercurio as well as in other specialized cultural publications of Chile, Spain, Mexico, the United States, and the United Kingdom. He also works in the area of ​​translation in collaboration with cultural institutions such as La Casa Encendida (Madrid), the Picasso Museum (Barcelona), and the NAEMI Foundation (Miami). He currently teaches at Finis Terrae and Alberto Hurtado (Santiago) universities.

His most recent works in the exhibition area include the international contemporary art exhibition Of Bridges & Borders in Valparaiso, and Proyecciones: Reflexiones, diálogos y prácticas en torno a Gordon Matta-Clark at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Santiago, both of them in 2013 .
